CrossFit Launches Scholarship Program
Today the next in what I imagine will be a wave of positive changes occurred at CrossFit HQ. CrossFit Inc announced its first-ever scholarship program to help the underprivileged in our country.
It’s a cool program with a rather misleading title, at least in my eyes. This program has nothing to do with helping students or college attendees, but rather men, women, and children in underprivileged areas. Essentially this program is a free L1 seminar (typically a thousand bucks) provided to folks in underprivileged areas. A few weeks from now, the program will launch in Atlanta, and continue to expand from there.
I think this is a super cool idea for CrossFit and a great look in the public eye. After buying the company not even one week ago, Eric Roza has done a phenomenal job with his first few steps. Between bringing Nicole Carol back in the folds, and now launching this program, CrossFit is making big strides, at a rapid rate, to make things right. Let’s keep it rolling baby!!
