CROSSFIT GAMES UPDATE: THE OPEN HAS BEEN CONFIRMED
In a year with so much change and turmoil, it's tough to believe that anything will go according to plan. Well when it comes to many people's favorite part, rest easy because we have official confirmation. Drumroll please...
THE CROSSFIT GAMES WORLD WIDE OPEN DATES HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED.
Very exciting for much of the CrossFit community, the open will run much like it has in the past. The open will span five weeks, with workout submission dates running from Thursday through Monday each week. The open will officially run from February 21st through March 25th in 2019, and will be the biggest qualifier for the Reebok CrossFit Games this summer.
Important to note, this is the last year the open will occur in the winter/early spring, as it is set to be held in October for future games seasons. There is no official word yet on whether or not there will be announcement workouts broadcast as in years past.
