The 2018 CrossFit Team Series continues this week! The second set of partner workouts has been released and each team has five days to complete and submit scores from the workouts.

Here are the workouts for week 2.

EVENT 5
Rx’d Workout:
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps each* of:
Bar muscle-ups Squat snatches*
Athletes work one at a time, alternating after each round.
Men use a 95-lb. barbell
Women use a 65-lb. barbell

Time cap: 20 minutes
Tiebreak: None

Scaled Workout
10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps each* of:
Chin-over-bar pull-ups Squat snatches *
Athletes work one at a time, alternating after each round.
Men use a 65-lb. barbell
Women use a 45-lb. barbell

Time cap: 20 minutes
Tiebreak: None

Note: The team’s score will be the time it takes to complete all 220 repetitions


EVENT 6
Rx’d Workout
2 rounds for time of:
100-cal. row (total, switching every 25 cal)
50 handstand push-ups (total)
Time cap: 20 minutes
Tiebreak: None

Scaled Workout:
2 rounds for time of:
100-cal. row (total, switching every 25)
50 hand-release push-ups (total)
Time cap: 20 minutes
Tiebreak: None

Note: Make sure you reset your rower between rounds.


EVENT 7
Rx’d Workout
1-rep-max* complex of:
Deadlift / hang clean / hang clean and jerk
*Official weight recorded in pounds

Scaled Workout
No change.

Time cap: 10 minutes
Tiebreak: None

Note: Only one athlete may be working at a time and only one barbell may be used per athlete for this workout. At any time, athletes may switch by touching hands.



EVENT 8
For time:
30 synchronized toes-to-bars
40 synchronized single-arm dumbbell snatches
50 synchronized dumbbell box step-overs
40 synchronized single-arm dumbbell snatches
30 synchronized toes-to-bars
Men use 50-lb. dumbbells, 24-in. box
Women use 35-lb. dumbbells, 20-in. box

Time cap: 15 minutes
Tiebreak: None

Scaled Workout
For time:
30 synchronized hanging knee-raises
40 synchronized single-arm dumbbell snatches
50 synchronized dumbbell box step-overs
40 synchronized single-arm dumbbell snatches
30 synchronized hanging knee-raises
Men use 35-lb. dumbbells, 20-in. box
Women use 20-lb. dumbbells, 20-in. box

Time cap: 15 minutes
Tiebreak: None

Note: For the synchronized TTB, all four feet must be in contact with the bar at the same time for the rep to count. For the synchronized dumbbell snatches, each rep is counted once both athletes have their dumbbells locked out overhead. For the synchronized dumbbell box step-overs, each rep is counted once both athletes have stepped over their boxes and reached the same side with all four feet on the ground at the same time.
