Next Big Trip Release - Island Hopping in Greece!

The food, the nightlife, the beaches....80-degree weather,  and amazing Greek history. What's to not love about Greece?

Aside from a tumultuous decade for the Greek economy, there's never been a better time to head to Greece. And lucky for you, VoyEdge RX is planning our next major tour to Greece, Athens and the islands...

As a young company, we're constantly learning about ourselves, the marketplace we're competing in, and of course our customers...we couldn't (and wouldn't) be doing this if we didn't care about our customers, and where they want to go. Our team has been to a collective 60+ countries and counting, and we're always keen on crafting new adventures to places we haven't been to....

That being said, a few of us (Tony, Gina, Meghan, Cam) have been to Greece. Athens, Corfu, Santorini and Mykonos. All the usual and typical Greek Islands most people have been to, or at least heard about.

And for good reason! Places like Santorini boast some of the best sunsets IN THE WORLD. Or so they say...but I'll leave it up to you to make that judgement.

Santorini is known for its WILD sunsets.

Santorini is known for its WILD sunsets.

As it is, we're in the process of figuring out our Greece trip. There's a ton of places we could go, but being the 'off the beaten path' company we are, we're looking to bring in places you may not have heard of before, but should definitely go to. Places like Crete, Rhodes and potentially a few others on the list.

Greece also has some WILD history behind it, and with as many islands as they have, it's going to be difficult to narrow all of them down. So, we're ABSOLUTELY taking advice....we're also actively working through a ton of blogs, and location recommendations from the millions of travel bloggers out there...Travel and Leisure has also been a huge help in forging this itinerary.

Regardless, you can BET we're going to include some badass hiking into this trip as well. Greece is known for FAR more than it's white sand beaches, and we'll aim to show you the very best of all of it, no matter what. And CrossFit athlete or not, you're going to love this tour. Plenty of beach time, just enough history, and tons of outdoor time to unplug, unwind and explore Greece like never before.

Ummm.....who wouldn't want to go here?

Ummm.....who wouldn't want to go here?

So, when is this happening?

We're looking at June 2018 or September 2018 for this trip. The weather seems to be ripe, and tourist season is at a low during that time, so we'll obviously hit prime hotel rates, and won't have to fight through the crowds to see what we want to see. Plus, off the beaten path things like hiking, ferries and the bars & restaurants won't be packed, so we'll be in good shape there.

As it is, we'll have you fly into Athens (don't worry, it's plenty safe now) and we'll spend 1-2 days touring things like the Parthenon, Acropolis and more. Plus, there's a couple sweet hikes around Athens that we'll definitely hit on the way. Oh, and did we mention the rooftop bars? You're gonna love us.

You'll be spending 1-2 nights in Athens for sure.

Long story short, the past 15 or so years in Greece have been a bit....well, tumultuous. And even that may be an understatement. Most people's  (and by people's, I mean 'Americans') European travels tend to stop as far as Italy, with many people deciding not to head to Greece on their first or second European excursion, in favor of more economically stable tourist hotspots like Rome, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and more.

However, we hope to change that, and I sincerely hope this Greece trip blows you away. We're going to work as hard as we can on it, and we'll probably cap it at about 15-20, so if you're interested, I'd HIGHLY recommend placing your deposit ASAP.

Now, who's down to go BASE jumping on Shipwreck beach?
