If I may, I propose a bounty. A thousand a week until he’s caught or killed.
— 'Robin Hood', 2018

I was looking forward to seeing this movie since the first preview dropped a few months back. Robin Hood is a classic, and I really enjoyed this interesting spin on the old school tale.

Rather than telling the same old story, this was a fun movie about how Robin Hood became Robin Hood. Listen, this movie isn't going to win many awards, but it was a lot of fun. There was nonstop action mixed in with young romance and funny jokes throughout. Jamie Foxx and Taron Egerton worked well together as Little John and Robin Hood. These two had a lot of chemistry on screen, bringing to life a rejuvenated sense of who these characters are. Overall, it was a very fun, all be it not a sensational movie, with action that you could enjoy time and time again. My rating for THE FILM: 6.6

This is one of those movies that is PERFECT for the plane. The movie is a calm PG-13 so next to nothing will be cut out to be appropriate for in flight entertainment. The movie will never bring you too high or too low, as it's more about entertainment value than stirring story telling.  This is a film that you could happily enjoy on the plane at any time of day or night, while not getting so lost in the film that you lose sight of the real life journey you are currently embarking on. My rating for THE PLANE: 9.4

This movie was just as advertised: a fun retelling of the classic Robin Hood tale. There is lots of action, funny dialogue, and a great back and forth between characters that will keep you entertained for the duration of the film. You won't be laughing super hard, you won't be crying like a baby, you will just be enjoying your time in the sky. This movie checks a lot of boxes, definitely keep an eye out for it on your next plane ride. My final rating for THE VERDICT: 8.0
