Fittest Travel WOD #14 'Cindy on the go'

"You Are Your Only Limit."

Travel + Fitness = Happiness

Travel + Fitness = Happiness

Fittest Travel is back this week with another workout you can do anywhere (hotel, gym, in the jungle or on the beach) and this is one of my favorite workouts, period.

For some CrossFit athletes, you may recognize this one as, "Cindy" but it's a real burner, but as long as you can find a pull-up bar (or substitute another movement) then you are going to find yourself with a good sweat, and even better swole when you're done.

Let's dive into this one.

FITTEST TRAVEL WORKOUT #14

As Many Rounds as Possible (AMRAP) in 20 Minutes:

5 Pull-Ups

10 Push-Ups

15 Squats

For most people, having access to a pull-up bar should be the toughest thing about being able to perform this workout, but after you get set-up, claim your space in whatever gym (or outdoor space) and get to it! This one is going to be all about quick rounds and even faster transitions.

You may find yourself losing muscle endurance rather quickly, but the important thing is to take short breaks and hop right back into this workout. Make sure your pull-ups (whether kipping or strict) are chin over the bar pull-ups, and your push-ups should be 'chest to deck,' as well as your air squats should be hip below the knee reps!

For more help on scaling the pull-up, watch the video down below and be sure to comment below and let us know what you think of this workout.

And if you need help scaling the pull-up....

This workout is brought to you by Fittest Travel, where they believe Travel + Fitness = Happiness (a little tag line we greatly agree with) and you can find more about them by visiting their website here.

They are also totally worth a follow on Twitter!

From Fittest Travel Website:

It's tough to stay fit while traveling.

It doesn't matter what kind of fitness routine you have at home. Everything is up in the air when you're in airports, hotels, conferences, meetings, sightseeing or visiting friends and family. To make matters even worse, most hotels do not have gyms – at least not legit ones. This doesn't mean that you have to put your fitness on hold when you travel.

In fact, it's the perfect time to get in great shape. You just need the right info.
