Okay, we need to talk about Croatia.
Every year we come back from a trip and tell you it changed us a little. We mean it every time. But Croatia is one of those places that just keeps popping into conversation months later, someone brings up the water, or the food, or that one cliffside bar, and suddenly the whole group chat is spiraling into "remember when." That's basically our litmus test for a bucket-list destination, and Croatia passes it every single time.

3. The food will ruin other seafood for you
Fresh-off-the-boat everything, olive oil that tastes like it has opinions, bread that shouldn't be that good, and wine from grapes you've probably never heard of that you'll be googling on the flight home. Croatia doesn't get talked about as a food destination nearly enough, and that's honestly working in its favor. You show up with zero expectations and leave planning your next trip around a specific restaurant.
4. Every town feels like a different country
Split, Hvar, Dubrovnik, string a few together, and it stops feeling like one destination and starts feeling like four completely different trips wearing the same passport stamp. Roman ruins one day, medieval walls the next, island-hopping after that. You will never be bored, and you will never run out of things to point your camera at.
