DAY 1: July 12, 2025

Arrive In Northern Norway

  • Arrive at Harstad/Narvik Airport (EVE) and meet VRX guides for a transfer to Henningsvær!

  • 2.5-hour drive to our hotel in Hennginsvær, Norway. Henningsvær is a small fishing village with a population of just 510.

    • If time allows, hike Festvagtind

  • In the evening, there will be an included group dinner to meet your fellow travelers

DAY 2: July 13, 2025

Hike Festvagtind & Henningsvær

  • In the morning there will be a hike of the nearby mountain Festvagtind overlooking the city.

    • If done the day before, we can visit the Viking Museum

  • Spend the day exploring the quaint village

  • Free night

DAY 3: July 14, 2025

Hiking Day #1: Munkebu

  • A two hour drive to your first Lofoten hiking experience at the tip of the penninsula to the base of Munkebu.

  • Stop in the village of Hamnøy and explore the area.

  • If time allows there will also be a stop in Nusfjord

  • Hiking: 5 hours (Munkebu)

  • Ascent/Elevation Gain: 756m / 2,480ft
    Distance: 10km / 6.2mi
    Transportation: 4 hour drive roundtrip

DAY 4: July 15, 2025

Kayaking & Rappelling

  • Today we embark toward the east coast of Lofoten.

  • Starting from Eggum, there will be a full day’s slate of kayaking, hiking, and rappelling!

  • After a long day of extraordinary activities, we will head back to Svolvær in the evening

DAY 5: July 16, 2025

Move to Svolvær & Hiking Day #2: Himmeltindan

  • Today you will hike the tallest peak in central Lofoten

  • Himmeltindan provides spectacular view of the ocean, beaches, and neighboring peaks.

  • After the hike, relax in Eggum and a stop at the Lofoten Viking Museum.

  • Hiking: 5 hours (Himmeltindan)
    Ascent/Elevation Gain: 885m / 2,906ft
    Descent: Out and back trial
    Distance: 8km/ 5mi
    Transportation: 3 hrs roundtrip

DAY 6: July 17, 2025

Fjord Tour

  • Optional morning workout

  • Depart on a four-hour boat tour to visit the famous Trollfjord with opportunities to see eagles soaring above the water and imposing mountains on either side.

  • Upon return to Svolvær, there will be an optional hike up a nearby mountain before an included group dinner in town.

DAY 7: July 18, 2025

Hiking Day #3: Matmora or Justadtinden

  • Today you take on another peak of Lofoten with either Matmora (stats below) or Justatinden.

  • Hiking: 6 hours (Matmora)
    Ascent: 2,700 feet
    Distance: 7 miles
    Transportation: 1 hour roundtrip

DAY 8: July 19, 2025

Hiking Day #4: Matmora or Justadtinden

  • Our final day in Norway ends with another hike, this time to either Matmora or Justadtinden (stats below) depending on weather and timing.

  • In the evening, we will drive to Narvik and indulge in our final group dinner of this Norweigan hiking adventure. 

  • Hiking: 4 hours (Justatinden)
    Ascent: 2,420 feet
    Distance: 5.5 miles
    Transportation: 2 - 2.5 hours roundtrip

DAY 9: July 20, 2025

Transfer To EVE Airport & Departure Day

  • After breakfast, we head to Harstad/Narvik (EVE) Airport for your outbound flight

  • Voyedge RX will provide your transportation back to the airport in time for your departing flights

  • In order to sign up, you must put down a nonrefundbale $500 deposit (that goes towards the overall price of your trip)
  • VoyEdge RX offers two pricing methods: Early Bird Rate and Regular Rate. Early bird rates are first come, first serve and are limited to the first five spots of any tour.
  • Regular bookings are at the regular rate price of the trip. If you have a promo code, you may use it at any time. Discounts may not be combined.

  • After signing up, VoyEdge RX will send you an invoice for the remaining balance for you to make payments as you wish. All invoices must be paid off at least 90 days before the trip kicks off, otherwise a 10% fee is applied.

  • All accommodations and prices on this trip are booked as double occupancy. If you are booking alone, you will be placed with a member of the same sex and similar age. There is a chance you score your own room, but that is left up to chance depending on the number of bookings. If you are booking as a couple or with a friend, you will be placed in the same room together. Just let us know if you would like one or two beds on the trip sign-up form.
  • If you would like PRIVATE ACCOMMODATIONS please select that option during checkout and $200 extra per night will be added to your invoice. Please note, private accommodations may not be available during the entire duration of this tour.
  • If you are a group, please specify under the 'notes' section of your booking who you would like to room with who.
  • Hotel names cannot be given out until after you have signed up for this tour. All hotels are centrally located to the activities and excursions on this trip.

  • You will depart from Harstad/Narvik Airport (EVE) on Aug. 13, 2023
  • Please note that flight times on Aug. 13, 2023 from Harstad/Narvik Airport might not align well with a flight back to the U.S. If you need to get back to the U.S. on Aug. 13, you may need to leave Harstad/Narvik Airport on Saturday Aug. 12.
  • You may choose to arrive early or stay late, if you wish. Please note that you will be responsible for booking your own transportation, activities, and meals if you are arriving early or staying late. You have the option of having VRX book you a hotel room and adding the cost to your invoice for a small fee.

  • Daily hikes, workouts and drop-ins are part of this tour and included in the price. You do NOT need to be an athlete in order to sign-up, although daily workouts and fitness options are available for you to participate in. We welcome all ages, abilities, fitness levels and only require you to be willing to step outside your comfort zone and try new things while on this tour.
  • The longest hike on this tour is about 5-6 hours. Hydration and general physical preparedness are highly suggested to be aware of while on this tour.
