Swords forged here have been declared to have been the best in all of Europe and supplied many men during battles from the Roman Empires through the middle ages, Renaissance and more.
In Toledo we will partake in a city walking tour and have the option to zip-line from over the Tagus River with Fly Toledo before breaking off to shop and explore the city in the afternoon. Afterwards, the group will head back to Madrid to grab our belongings at the train station and then board another quick train to Seville to check-in to our accommodations and crash for the evening.
Average temp in Toledo in October = 70 F / 21 C.
Fun fact: The Cathedral de Santa Maria de Toledo is a Gothic style church built on the grounds of a Christian church, which is actually a rare occurrence throughout the world, but due to Spain’s history, this is a frequent occurrence. The Cathedral is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Wake up in Seville! One of Spain's most charming cities. Full of inescapable and mesmerizing architecture, you will feel more than at home. Seville is so beautiful it has often been dubbed, ‘The Venice of Spain,’ partly due to the fact there are meandering waterways in which you can enjoy a boat ride through the canals.
Wake up and explore Seville with the group as we partake on a walking tour of Seville’s most exquisite monuments and then enjoy a morning training session at a nearby box (TBD) and a leisurely afternoon exploring some of Seville's finest districts. Seville is a genuine city of flamenco, fiestas, siestas and fiery Hispanic passion. Part of the city’s charm are the lustrously painted buildings and architecture with elegant Arabian heritage and dramatic Roman history.
Seville is also home to many ‘Game of Thrones’ film locations, as well as a plethora of other famous American movies like Star Wars and many more. Did you know Tapas were also created here? That, and Christopher Columbus is buried in the Seville Cathedral. After much of your independent exploring through the afternoon the group will get together for a Flamenco show in the evening before returning to our accommodations for the evening.

In fact, the highest temperature ever recorded in Europe was in Seville in 1881 at 50°C, which is 122 F!
Wake up in Seville with a morning training session at a nearby box close to the hotel (TBD) or a travel workout depending on locations and times, and then freshen up with breakfast at the hotel before checking out as a group. It’s nearly time to head to Ronda, Spain - a city built on a 120 meter (393-foot) precipice among the Sierra Nevada mountains. Ronda is known to Spaniards as being one of the most incredible places in the entire country.
Ronda is an astonishingly beautiful and secluded (not to mention brawny) town atop a Spanish plateau town cut in the middle of Andalusia. This is where modern day bullfighting was invented and Ronda to this day has the only bullring entirely made of Stone. Ronda was often visited often by Ernest Hemingway. Orson Welles' ashes are also buried here. You are going to like it here....trust us. After we stash our luggage at at our hotel, we will head out for a small walking tour and then will partake in an incredible canyoning excursion included in the PM (no experience required).
After the canyoning excursion, we will gear up and head back to the hotel and enjoy an evening and night out in Ronda.
Average temp in Ronda in October = 64 F / 18 C
Fun fact: Ronda is a city of only 35,500 residents and there are only three bridges that connect the city to the valley below. Ronda also boasts an exceptional number of restaurants that offer fantastic panoramic views of the city in all directions.
Wake up in Ronda with an optional morning workout and mobility session and checkout from the hotel to head to Caminito del Rey, or, 'The King's Little Pathway.' Deep inside the mountains of Andalusia, this gorge has a narrow walkway cut into it and was quite dangerous around 1999, where several deaths had been reported after some rock slippage and the rainy season caused major erosion in the area.
Construction of the walkway was started in 1901 when it became apparent that workers at the hydroelectric power plants at the nearby Chorro Falls and Gaitanejo Falls needed a means to cross between the falls for transportation purposes. The walkway was completed in 1905, but the inauguration did not take place until 1921 when Spanish King Alfonso XIII crossed it and the walkway’s been called The King’s Pathway since.
Part of what makes it the ‘World’s Most Dangerous Canyon’ is that some walkways have drops up to 330 feet, and over the past decade local governments have invested and restored the path to make it safe for any and all potential hikers. After the hike, head to Malaga and check into Mike's Marbella Gym.
Average temp in Caminito del Rey in October = 75 F / 24 C
Fun fact: The walkway is one meter (3 feet and 3 inches) in width, and rises over 100 meters (350 feet) above the river below. A safety-wire runs the length of the path, despite the sheer drop-offs into the canyon hundreds of feet below, but this has turned El Caminito del Rey into an extreme vacations attraction and crossing the whole path has become an adventure sport for tourists. The walkway is over 3 kilometers long.
Welcome to Mike's Gym Marbella! One of the coolest places in all of Europe to stay at, workout and train. This places was built for OCR racers, CrossFit athletes, boxers and more. Enjoy a morning training session and run the Assault Course if you want (extra cost for the Assault Course).

As a group, we will head to Playas del Palo, a riviera just north of Malaga where you can head out on the water for some downtime (ATV rental not included). There are a plethora of restaurants along the boulevard and we will have 2-3 hours to explore and decompress from a very few active days!

Spain supported US Independence from the beginning through the military figure of Bernardo de Gálvez, who fought against the English, in Pensacola. For being considered a hero, a city with his name was founded in his honor, Galveston, in the State of Texas.

As a group, we will wake up from our accommodations to get a morning workout in at a nearby CF box (TBD) or a travel workout and mobility session in the early morning.

The Alhambra is a key tourist attraction in the city of 300,000 people and was the last stronghold of a Muslim Spain, which ended in the year 1492. You will enjoy a guided tour (included) of the Alhambra while learning about this incredible historic site.
Not only is the Alhambra completely astonishing (and home to many Game of Thrones film locations) but there are multiple hidden gardens throughout the city, all of which can be seen from the Alhambra. After exploring the Alhambra and the rest of Granada as a group, we will head to the central train station and take the train back to Madrid for our final night together in Spain!
